The terrorist group the Islamic State (ISIS) has issued a statement that has been interpreted as taking responsibility for the bombings that took place in Iran during a ceremony marking the anniversary of the elimination of Qassem Suleimani, commander of the Quds Brigade in the IRGC.

(It should be noted, however, that the text of the ISIS statement says only that two terrorist bombers detonated suicide belts in the city of Kerman near the grave of Qasem Suleimani, killing and wounding more than 300 infidels. There was not a single word about taking responsibility for the terrorist attack, which may in fact have been carried out by other opponents of the regime in Iran).

In any case, by the grace of the Almighty, the fanatical Sunni group ISIS views the fanatical Shiite Iranian regime as its sworn enemy. During the decade since ISIS became active in the Middle East, the group has carried out dozens of terrorist attacks inside Iran. One of them, for example, was a major attack on the Majlis — Iran’s parliament — about seven years ago. During that attack, dozens of ISIS terrorists stormed not only the parliament itself, but also Khomeini’s tomb, killing and wounding dozens of people, including members of the Majlis.

In another attack a few years ago, ISIS terrorists opened fire on a military parade in the Iranian city of Ahvaz, killing and wounding dozens of soldiers. This well-documented event demonstrated the Iranian regime’s virtual helplessness before a group that is not afraid to attack even military units with impunity.

Two years ago, ISIS terrorists also attacked one of the most important Shiite shrines, the Shah Cherah Mausoleum in Shiraz, killing 15 people and wounding dozens more.

This is by no means a complete list of all ISIS terrorist attacks against the Iranian regime.

I see this as a great miracle for Israel — G-d is bringing our haters together to destroy each other....

A few months before the first Gulf War, an international coalition was assembled to confront the Iraqi dictator Hussein (the very one, I remind you, who later fired Soviet Scud missiles at Israeli cities) — the Lubavitcher Rebbe SHLITA King Moshiach reviewed this issue in great detail, calling it an exceptional miracle, and referring to verse 10 of Psalm 136 — “who smote Egypt with his firstborn”. The Rebbe SHLITA explained that this miracle is one of the signs of the coming Redemption, because with the coming of the Redemption, darkness will turn to light, and therefore, on the very day preceding it, a situation will arise when the forces of the nations of the world will go to war against the haters of Israel. And this is for the good of the people of Israel.

Let me remind you that during the Gulf War, the armies of Syria and Egypt also fought against Iraq! And, of course, it was for the benefit of the people of Israel, because the IDF did not have to intervene in the fighting against the Iraqi dictator. Those who fought against him were, among others, Arab states hostile to Israel.

This has been the case in recent years, with uprisings and revolutions in almost all Arab states. As a result, it is not the IDF that fights against regimes hostile to us, but their own citizens.

As a result, Arab countries hostile to us, such as Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon, have practically collapsed, consumed by internal turmoil. In Egypt, for example, civil war has been raging for a decade.

A similar process may be beginning in Iran, where battles with armed insurgent organizations, including ISIS, which is fiercely fighting the bloodthirsty and dangerous Iranian regime, are still raging. And this is a great miracle for the good of Israel.

“Give thanks to the L-rd, for He is good and His mercy is everlasting!”
