The U.S. Congress, responsible, among other things, for approving the U.S. national budget, passed last night by an overwhelming majority, which, by the way, included both Republicans and Democrats, a number of budget amendments, including:
1. Prevention of the relocation of the U.S. Embassy from Jerusalem. This means that the U.S. Embassy remains in Jerusalem and cannot be moved back to Tel Aviv under any circumstances, since Congress has not appropriated funds to do so.
2. A prohibition on the removal of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) from the list of terrorist organizations.
3. A prohibition on giving any funding that could support the creation of a “Palestinian state” unless that state also controls the Gaza Strip as well and extends power to “Hamas terrorists” — that’s exactly what Congress said!
It is clear that we oppose the creation of a “Palestinian state” in any form, nevertheless, from this example, we can clearly see that we, and especially our “leftists”, could learn a lot from the American House of Representatives, including the phrasing...
